KALO Releases "Lost It," Fifth Single Since May
Blues rocker KALO has released another single, “Lost It,” yet another in a prolific string of music released since the start of the pandemic last year.
The song is fifth to be released since May 2020 (on the heels of a full band version of "Calling All Dreamers," a live version of "Bad Girl," a holiday song, and another rock n roll tune, "Love Me Like You Do" and "No Shame."
"Since the band wasn’t able to tour, I really wanted to capture a live sound and feeling in this recording and bring the concert experience and all its extremes right to your ears,” said Kalo, who also wrote and produced the track.
Kalo said she plans to keep releasing music, especially during a time when there are fewer live shows and touring has slowed down or stopped.
“We need each other, we need music, more than ever right now,” she said. “I hope this brings some amount of joy and reminds us of being together and celebrating life.”
The song features Justin Goldner on bass, Mike Alexander on drums and Bat-Or Kalo on guitars and vocals. It was produced and engineered at Blue House studios and was mixed and mastered by Ryoji Hata.
