KALO Releases Raucous "Love Me Like You Do"
Rocker KALO has released another raucous single, “Love Me Like You Do,” one of several she’s released since the start of the pandemic.
The song is the third to be released since May, and was recorded at Tulsa’s Blue House Media studio, mixed and mastered at Bell Labs in Norman, and features Bat- Or Kalo on guitars and vocals, Mike Alexander on drums and Jared Gaiser on bass. Michael Block and Joel Wade engineered the song.
“Since the band wasn’t able to tour, I really wanted to capture a live sound and feeling in this recording and bring the concert experience and all its extremes right to your ears,” said Kalo, who also wroteand produced the track.
KALO released a live recording of “Bad Girl” in June. In May, the single “No Shame” was released. Kalo said she plans to keep releasing music, especially during a time when there are fewer live shows and touring has slowed down or stopped.
“We need each other, we need music, more than ever right now,” she said. “I hope this brings some amount of joy and reminds us of being together and celebrating life.”
